I began a practice of yoga in 2000. My life was immediately transformed by the act of showing up for myself each day on the Yoga mat. A dedicated student of Karen Sprute-Francovich, I began teaching yoga in 2007 at the request of my teacher to substitute. I took heed of the call to teach and in 2010 became an Anusara-Inspired™ Yoga Instructor and am currently a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher (200 hour level). I have personally experienced the ability of this practice to heal my body, brighten my mind, and open my heart to a more full and authentic experience of life. My favorite thing is to share this healing experience with others. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Each day, the practice of music and the practice of Yoga become more one and the same. It’s all Yoga, it’s all Art, it’s all Play!
In the moments between playing music and studying yoga, I also enjoy working with horses, hiking, camping, swimming, river surfing, knitting, snuggling with my two cats and one dog, and gardening. I live and teach in Boise, Idaho. I am deeply grateful to the blossoming Boise Yoga community.
