My other interests and hobbies include dance, animals,art, music, travel and collecting experiences rather than things.
I truly believe in the healing power of Yoga and the additional elements such as diet, belief system/mindset and striving to live a life that makes you excited to wake up everyday.
I started my Yoga journey in 2003 as a student and fell in love with how Yoga can improve so many aspects of life from mental to physical and spiritual. I practiced Vinyasa Flow for 15 years and have since discovered another huge passion, which is the healing power of Hatha Yoga and this lead to my training and studying with Johann Kotze in Muizenberg, Cape Town South Africa.
The benefits of Hatha Yoga allowed me to improve in my own practice, gain strength, heal injuries and discover a calmness and clarity that I love to share in my classes as well as in my own mindfulness practice. I completed my 200 hour Yoga teacher training in Muizenberg, Cape Town South Africa, before emigrating back the United States where I was born.
I have also had an extensive dance and fitness background allowing me to adapt my experience from teaching group classes, private sessions for more than 15 years and observing clients to ensure that they have the correct technique and movement. I started teaching Yoga specifically in 2016 and has since qualified with additional restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga as well as Hatha Yoga and Flow classes.
