Candace discovered yoga as means to heal on a physical, mental and emotional level. Working as a healthcare practitioner at the time, she decided to take her first yoga teacher training in hopes to share her experience with others. Since leaving her past profession and previous home in California, she has become a dedicated student and teacher.
Her classes encourage students to move with grace, awareness and focus, while creating a safe and intelligent practice that is available to all students. She is committed to not only helping students learn more about their bodies, but to realize that they have the tools and power within them to live a more fulfilled, balanced and beautiful life.
A 500 hour RYT, Candace holds certifications from The Mount Madonna Center, through Stephanie Snyder and Noah Maze. Additionally, she is certified in Pre/Postnatal Yoga through Jane Austin, Aerial Yoga through The Yoga Studio in Campbell, and has completed teacher trainings through Maty Ezraty, and Jason Crandell. Candace is grateful for all of her teachers whom she has crossed path with. She strives to continually study from a variety of different yoga styles, methods and teachers to help her broaden her knowledge and teaching skills.
When not on the mat, Candace enjoys the outdoors and loves spending time with her husband and daughter, who continue to inspire her every day.
