The ‘Scaravelli’ approach is really about finding efficient movement by working with gravity not against it in order to create greater freedom of movement. The idea of opening from within, out into or towards the postures so as to avoid any sense of forcing the body into position. I encourage people to work in a way that suits them, to listen to their bodies and work as strongly or as gently as is appropriate for them and awareness of the breath is a key element to finding this practice.
Yoga led me to the potential healing power of the voice and sacred instruments such as the gong. Through yoga and sound I endeavour to invite in an experience of connection, deep relaxation and profound peace as well as exploring movement. As YogaSound I offer a range of yoga classes, meditation, Sound Healing and relaxation sessions in groups or one to one in the Lowestoft area.
