I began practicing yoga when I got tired of my gym routine and decided I wanted to try something different. I quickly realized the benefits of yoga went far beyond the exercise. As a life-long sufferer with anxiety, I was drawn to the peace and mental well-being that yoga offered me. I began taking as many classes as I could squeeze into my schedule, and felt compelled to learn more about the history and traditions of yoga. I enrolled in Bloom Yoga School in the fall of 2014, and now I hope to share my love of yoga and help others find the same calmness and peace that I found on my mat.
