I am a certified Pilates, Yoga and Aerial Yoga teacher.
My style of teaching is slow and methodical, with attention paid to anatomy and alignment. My classes are flowing in nature with a focus on the connection between the movement of the body and the quality of the breath. I aim to offer creative sequencing that will challenge each student within their range, but gently push to find new limits. I strongly believe in the marriage of the traditional teachings with modern advancements in biomechanics and our improved understanding of healthy movement. My background in Pilates adds a dynamic to my Yoga teaching which I hope benefits my students in finding stability and strength within their practice.
I hope to instill in my students a sense of calm and peace, their mat a small oasis in their otherwise busy lives. I believe that our time on the mat can better equip us to take on the challenges of the world around us, using insights we may find within our practice in our day-to-day lives.
