I began practicing yoga in 2009 while attending graduate school in New York City and it revealed to me a place of peace and wholeness within myself in the midst of the vibrant chaos of city life. So profound were the positive changes in my way of being that I focused my master’s thesis on the beneficial effects of meditative states of consciousness on physical and psychological health. In 2013, I became a yoga teacher and have enjoyed finding my authentic voice and tapping more deeply into my intuition by teaching yoga classes in Chicago. Since then, I have also been studying with many different shamanic teachers from North America, South America, and Europe to learn how to hold ceremony and honor the Divine through music, prayer, and ritual. My yoga style focuses on connecting with Spirit, honoring the Earth, and revealing the medicine in our hearts.
