In the early 1990's, I worked long hours, wearing my power suits and high heels, as a successful recruiter for the graphic arts industry. After many years of living the corporate life, and was searching for my purpose in life here on earth.
A colleague of mine suggested I take some meditation classes with her husband at the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago. That lead to taking more classes in Kriology, the study of Kriya Yoga, a system which deals directly with your mind, its structure and dynamics. And that led to taking Hatha yoga classes, the physical practice of yoga. I discovered that my yoga hobby had become a passion.
Later receiving my 2 Yoga certifications in 2003 and 2005.
Since then, I left the corporate world, and have been teaching yoga classes in yoga studios, health clubs, in the office, in schools, outdoors, and in private settings. I enjoy teaching yoga to all levels of students and pride myself for gentle guidance, patience, and encouragement.
As I work with my students, I value each and everyone of them for their uniqueness, with an emphasis on self-empowerment and positive inner development, on and off the mat.
