My yoga journey started while I was at law school - highly stressed, regular headaches and back pain, and lots of tight areas from gym and running. It had me hooked as a workout - I felt both exercised AND refreshed, building strength while improving mobility - the workout and recovery all rolled into one. But the real benefit came through learning to breathe well, being introduced to meditation, and learning to listen to and respect what my body was telling me. And this is what I bring to my classes - strength, mobility, mindfulness, and calm.
