A yoga practitioner for 45 years, Catherine Deans E-RYT 500, C-IAYT has over 1000 hours of formal yoga teacher training and more than 7000 hours of hands-on teaching experience. In addition, Catherine has worked one-on-one with therapeutic yoga clients for the past 11 years and is certified as a yoga therapist by International Association of Yoga Therapists. Over the past 8 years, Catherine has broadened her knowledge of therapeutic yoga with in-depth training at Duke Integrative Medicine, Duke University Medical Center and advanced yoga and therapeutic yoga instruction at the Healing Yoga Center, San Francisco - the US flagship affiliate of the Krishnamacharya Yoga Healing Foundation.
