Cat was introduced to yoga in high school as a physical exercise -- a way to incorporate more movement into her life. She maintained her practice through the years and began practicing regularly after graduating college. Now, Cat uses her practice as an ideal counter to her job supporting survivors of sexual trauma. She loves the physical benefits of her practice, which have allowed her to develop strength and flexibility. She also deeply appreciates the mental benefits that the practice brings, leaving her centered, calm, and aware of herself and those around her. In Cat's classes, you can expect to go through a series of fluid movements with intentional cueing to help you become aware of your body and breath. Cat completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2018 at Yoga Heights in Washington, DC.
I will be traveling in India and Southeast Asia from February - June 2019. Please let me know if you're in need of a yoga teacher!
