My journey with Yoga began when I bought an unlimited class pass in 2011 and was instantly hooked, fascinated by how the movement and breath made me feel. It resonated with me instantly. I wanted to learn about how and why it made me feel so amazing, inside and out, mentally, emotionally and physically.

Always wanting to study further there 'never seemed to be a good time' until I finally made some huge changes to my life. After spending time reassessing my life goals, the opportunities to learn and teach started to present themselves and I haven't looked back. 

Now a registered yoga teacher, RYT350/YIN50 - Yoga Alliance, my life is dedicated to practising, teaching and learning. My mission is to provide a safe friendly space for everyone to access the benefits of yoga. To gently challenge our mind and body to become happier, healthier versions of ourselves.

I am especially interested in studying the neuroscience behind Trauma Informed/Trauma Sensitive Yoga and how regular practice can help us become more aware of triggers caused from experiencing significant trauma and help align or rebalance our nervous system and enhance the structure and function of our brain.

I completed my 200 hour Teacher Training with Matt Bergan (Dancing Warrier Studio SYD) and Clare Lovelace (Soul Tribe Studio BBAY).

I have since completed my Advanced Teacher Training Mentorship & Advanced Yin Teacher Training (with Clare Lovelace), Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Mitch Gibson, Trauma First Aid (Peter Levine), Yoga Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma Therapy - A Somatic approach and Mindful, Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training (Dr Ann Bortz - Yoga Medicine).

I love sharing my knowledge and also learning from everyone around me and my students. I’ve been lucky to have fantastic mentors and surrounded by a great community and for that I am extremely grateful.
