Yoga has been an integral part of my life. I have studied yoga under multiple schools and have matured enough to understand the unity and diversity among different schools. Ultimately they all meet at a common point which is good health, well being and possibly an awareness of meditation. The journey beyond this point opens up to the core of the yoga teachings which is realization of the ultimate reality. A steady practice and right theoretical understanding can help anyone to progress, right from a beginner to an advanced practitioner. I owe whatever I have understood on this subject to Sivananda Yoga as taught by Swami Vishnudevananda and to Swami Krishnananda Saraswati, Rishikesh, Himalayas. There is no final destination in Yoga it is a continuous movement form one level of joy to another.
I have studied the practical applications of Yoga to Health & Therapy at the SVYASA University, Bangalore. I continue to follow the latest research papers and updates through various conferences and workshops.
As a yoga teacher, I have been teaching Yoga since 1997. From 1998 to 2003 I used teach in the USA, in 2004-2005 I was teaching in the UK and Germany.
I moved back to Chennai in 2005 and have been there after starting my yoga school "The Life Vision Academy".
