The practice of yoga entered into Chantal’s life a few short weeks after changing her eating habits for the better. With whole foods creating a new level of energy to burn, she turned to yoga for a workout. A spark was ignited and yoga became a daily practice, a lifestyle. In the Spring of 2015 she completed her extensive 200 hour training though Yoga Bhoga, a certified Yoga Alliance school.
In her Hatha and Vinyasa classes, Chantal loves to help people find their own balance by pushing the boundaries of what a student thinks they can and can’t do. She confidently guides people through new and familiar postures using precise anatomical cues and hands-on adjustments. With laughter and an infectious smile, she teaches her students to breathe into each new pose, each movement and challenges them to try one more variation. With each new step, she shares a little more of her training and in turn learns from her students. She wants them to leave class feeling the burn of a challenge, the clarity of focused thoughts and the joy of a light heart.
