I love yoga. I love the way that I can completely tune out of the world while I am on my mat. That I am allowed to only focus on how my body responds to certain poses and how my breath sounds. For me, yoga is my time for self discovery and actualization.

I started my yoga journey while living in Thailand where yoga is a part of daily life and not just on the mat. I completed my 200 hour teacher training in India in 2009 with a Vinyasa certification. This was such a profound experience, living and breathing yoga 24 hours a day. I knew that this was going to be my life's journey at that point.

After returning to South Africa I furthered my yoga education to be able to teach Yin Yoga, Preggy Yoga, Mom and Baby Yoga, Kids Yoga, Pilates mat and Reformer and practice Holistic Massage while studying Advanced Comprehensive Sports Massage.

Teaching yoga is my greatest passion. As a teacher it is really important to me that I don't just instruct the people who come to my class, but rather that I pass on some form of knowledge and personal understanding. I have conduct continuous study of my trade through the attendance of workshops, events, trainings and self practice.

I have taught in Thailand, Singapore, India, Hungary and South Africa.

Corporate Yoga

Charlize ran corporate office yoga sessions as part of a corporate wellnessday for a client and we were elated to find a yogi as flexible in every sense of the word. We required her to run workshop in an operating plant at the various work stations so that we do not disrupt production and she complied with that plus more. Very professional and highly recommended as part of any coprporate EAP programme! Petro Vorster SeaFrog Communication
