Hi !

Thanks for stopping by!

I am passionate about yoga and young people in that order.

I have two boys of 13 and 16 and have always taught yoga in their schools. I teach approx. 30 teens per week in ten different schools and also within the NHS and I train approx. 100 teachers per year to run the TeenYoga Yoga and Mindfulness programme throughout the world, including in the Middle East and Africa, with great support from the Sivananda Organisation. I also run the Universal Yoga Teacher Training Course with Naomi Seager. We are both Senior Yoga Teachers and Yoga Elders.

I have run TeenYoga since 2004 and it continues to grow year on year establishing itself as the longest running and most prestigious programme of its kind. It is accredited with the Yoga Alliance and the Independent Yoga Network and fully insured.

The school programme (taught on the TeenYoga training programme) is currently being delivered in over five hundred schools worldwide and is a direct result of extensive research and experience in the field, which constitutes our unique manual and will also soon to be published as a book.

Sportivate or your school or institution may well sponsor you to do this course.

We welcome everyone on our experiential training course, especially parents, yoga teachers, school teachers, youth workers, psychologists and other people working with teens and young people.

We are keen to come to you and run this course, just pop us an email.

I am a regular contributor to Om Yoga magzine, Elephant Journal and to the BBC, talking on the topic of Mindfulness, Yoga and Teens. Please get in touch if you would like me to write an article for you.

I also run PranaProductions a production company, making films for yogis.

Our mission at TeenYoga is to move towards integrating yoga and mindfulness into the education system in the UK, supporting teens by reducing their stress and anxiety and helping them to perform better academically and to create emotional resilience through mindfulness.

To this end, we run a conference every year entitled INSTILL, yoga, education and wellbeing, based in London. We also are planning to open a school following yoga principles under the umbrella organisation TeenYoga Foundation.

Our Charity in Sierra Leone, works with training up traumatised young people to become yoga therapists themselves.
