I've been practicing yoga since 2004 and teaching since 2012. In addition to my teacher certification, I've received training in trauma-sensitive teaching and working with special populations. I believe yoga should be inclusive, so I do my best to make my classes welcoming to everyone who wants to join.
I get excited about yoga because I know firsthand how powerfully healing it can be. The mind-body connection is a fascinating thing, and I invite everyone to explore it during my classes. Part alignment geek, part artist, I like to blend the linear and flowing aspects of yoga together.
In addition to teaching yoga, I'm a graphic designer, avid hiker, reader, and artist. I'm well on my way to my career goal of being a professional fun-haver.
