I have always loved Yoga since I attended my first class about 5 years ago. I love that it keeps me fit and healthy, but also my mind calm and clear. I have tried many different types of Yoga, but it wasn’t until I started Kundalini Yoga about 3 years ago that I decided to take my Teacher Training at the Karam Kriya School.
After my Kundalini Teacher training, I then decided I wanted to go to India to take my Ashtanga and Vinyasa teacher training so that I could gain a Qualification to also teach the Ashtanga and Vinyasa styles of Yoga.
I teach a Vinyasa Flow style class with influences from Kundalini Yoga.
Vinyasa is a dynamic flowing style of yoga, synchronising breath and movement to create heat and flexibility within the body. Kundalini Yoga uses dynamic postures, stretching, breath, mudra, meditation and relaxation to balance, strengthen and cleanse the body and mind. It works quickly, effectively and efficiently and so it is perfect for helping people to cope with the daily stresses of modern life, whilst also keeping fit and healthy. I believe the combination of the two creates a powerful and effective workout for the mind and body, and helps the individual to reach their full potential in life.
