I have been interested in health, fitness and the environment for as long as I can remember. I've managed a health food store in Tahlequah, OK, for several years, been a Registered Environmental Specialist and Administrative Manager for the Oklahoma Scenic Rivers Commission for the last 18 years, hold a BS in Nutrition & Management, and an MS in Environmental Management. In my mid-40's, I began experiencing autoimmune issues that run prevalent in my family. I got serious about my yoga practice and received my first yoga certification in 2002. With the changes in my body through menopause, I became interested in the benefit Pilates can provide and received my first certification in Pilates in 2010. I taught at Angela’s Fitness Center for Women in Tahlequah for 8 years and now teach and co-own The 108 Yoga Studio in Tahlequah. I'm passionate in my belief that everyone can benefit from a regular yoga and Pilates practice, regardless of their fitness level or stage of life. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people to help them achieve good health.
