Cheryl has practiced Yoga for over 17 years. In 2005, she became a certified Yoga teacher after completing a 500 hour training program, studying with Irene and Dr. Bill Beer of Namaste International in the tradition of Vanda Scaravelli, focusing on a form of Yoga that works with the body to restore health, vitality and energy while moving through Yoga practice without strain or effort. Cheryl attends workshops and conferences to continually develop and build on her Yoga teaching skills and knowledge.

Cheryl's journey with meditation began eleven years ago when she participated in Jon Kabat-Zinn's "Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction" 8 week course. Since then she has had a daily meditation practice and has participated in meditation retreats, varying in length from 3 to 9 days. In November 2009, Cheryl spent a month in India on a Buddhist Pilgrimage, visiting important historical sites of the Buddha and deepening her understanding of the Dharma. Cheryl has just completed a 2 year Meditation Mentorship Programme with Norman Feldman, Molly Swan and Michael Stone.

Cheryl approaches her sharing of Meditation and Yoga with a kind and open heart ~ she does not simply teach but lives a life based on the wisdom of these wellness practices.
