While living in the Philippines, I initially came to yoga with the aim of curing a lower back injury. Impressed by the immediate impact it had on my body, as well as my mind, it soon became an integral part of my life.
For 10 years, I have tried different types of yoga, starting from Ashtanga , which I relate to because of it's discipline and core strengthening elements.
Teaching became a natural progression and so I travelled to India to train in traditional Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Pranayama and Kriyas. I am a 200 hour Certified Yoga Alliance UK Teacher. I also trained at triyoga London where I qualified as a Pregnancy Yoga Teacher.
Coming from a Nursing background, my approach to teaching is very hands on, concentrating on alignment, while encouraging you to find your own path.
