Choi has practiced yoga for over 30 years and is a British Wheel of Yoga Accredited Teacher. She has practised Vipassana meditation since 1998 and has attended many silent Vipassana retreats. She believes that yoga can benefit and be practiced by all; alignment cues with modifications/variations are continually offered so that classes are inclusive and taught within a compassionate environment. Choi teaches an enriching practice encouraging deep awareness, cultivating compassion, empathy and loving kindness. Mindfulness tools interplay in every class helping still the fluctuations of the mind, helping with disassociation disorders, and allowing one to be more present in the unfolding of each moment-to-moment. She is passionate about treating each student as unique and individual as they were born, welcomes a ‘less is more’ approach to the physical asana practice and encourages everyone to simply ‘pause for a moment’.
