Chrissy originally came to yoga as a way to improve her physical health and appearance. After years of little exercise, Chrissy wanted her old body back. Within just a few weeks of practicing she was hooked! Not only did yoga improve her overall appearance but also opened her mind to new ways of seeing and coping with things in everyday life. She was feeling healthier again and was pleasantly surprised at the amazing emotional and spiritual growth that came along with the practice.
Her classes focus on building strength and flexibility while also having fun. She often encourages her students to try new things as “you never know what you are capable of unless you try”. You won’t find a lot of music or background noise in her classes as she believes in using class time to really listen to ones breath, mind and body. Chrissy’s classes are for all levels and she often offers variations of poses to allow her students to feel comfortable and grow.
She completed her YA-RYT200 hour training in Baptiste style Power Vinyasa with Elizabeth Huntsman DeAngelis through the Cape Ann Yoga School.
Chrissy has always been a longtime enthusiast of traveling and exploring. She loves that she can now not only explore the outside world around her but also all the emotions, thoughts and desires yoga helps bring up that we normally keep inside ourselves. She’s excited to share all that she’s learned both mentally and physically with her students while making them stronger on the inside and out!
