Above all else, I teach yoga to share my love of the practice and inspire both confidence and curiosity.
I rang in 2010 by making a move from sunny South Florida to sunny Southern California. Soon enough, I found myself in a yoga class looking to try something new. I unexpectedly began to find that my time in class was the most peaceful and genuine part of my day—a time to stop thinking and start feeling present. Over time, I became increasingly starving for more knowledge about a practice that transforms the body and mind in such a beautiful, natural way.
I completed my 200-hour training at Studio Surya Yoga in Venice, California under the guidance of brilliant and diverse teachers—Yonnus Becker, Courtney Harms, and Mary Beth LaRue. My classes are designed to flow as a moving meditation focusing on alignment, breath, and discovering your strength and inner joy that's just dying to shine.
I'm currently loving life on the westside where I fill my days with writing, good eats, asana, cats, and generally cultivating a blissful life.
"happiness is part of who we are. joy is the feeling."
