Christine teaches Vinyasa Flow, Gentle, and Restorative Yoga classes. She is known for her ability to craft intelligent and creative sequences inspired by her own practice and study of Yoga. In Christine’s classes, you can expect specific instructions to create postures to not only bring more strength and flexibility to the body, but also to bring the body, mind, and spirit into the present moment. Each student is offered a profound opportunity to practice skillfulness in action. This mindfulness is the essence of the practice of Yoga. Mindfulness cultivates the ability to listen to the reactivity in the body, notice habits and patterns, and make decisions in the present moment from a compassionate point of view.

Christine has been practicing Yoga since 2000. Her practice has evolved over the years and it was when she started a family that she embraced her Yoga practice more than ever. It was her way to stay present, have compassion for herself, and better understand the connection with body, mind, breath, and spirit. This enriched her connection to her loved ones. Practicing Yoga gives her strength to explore the edges of her comfort zone–to be curious about possibilities. Her respect and joy for Yoga have her wanting to share this ancient practice with others to explore, together, possibilities in living with mindfulness and heartfelt intention.

Truzen Yoga Studio in Acton - From Yoga to QiGong!

I'm a definite fan of Truzen Yoga which recently opened in North Acton by Owner/Yoga Instructor Christine Fox. The new Truzen Studio space is very inviting - clean, organized, with a nice eco décor and natural light. I'm taking a combination of gentle yoga classes with Christine along with a unique medical Qi gong movement class (focused on wellness and disease prevention - reducing stress and improving focus and vitality) with Pam Vlahakis at TruZen .

If you ever thought about trying yoga or are looking for a new yoga studio (and/or one that offers Qi Gong classes), TruZen is a great choice. Ask about their new student $30 for 30 days and multi-class yoga specials.

TruZen is a welcome change for big crowded yoga studios. It's intimate, peaceful and offers unique classes like Qi Gong and DanceEnergy as well as excellent yoga classes.

Recommend Christine Fox - TruZen Yoga Teacher

Christine Fox is great for new yogis such as myself - kind, patient, takes the time to demonstrate and explain new yoga postures that are just right for you. A great combination of yoga with a touch of meditation too. I appreciate that Christine is safety oriented too! Recommend Christine at TruZen!
