A teacher with a difference

A week of yoga ay Ulpotha, Sri Lanka, exposed us to a unique and dedicated teacher, Christophe. Christophe's style is very different from a lot of other yoga teachers out there. Being an Anusara style inspired teacher he has a tremendous amount of skills to share with the class. On an individual level Christophe always pays attention to small details that made a huge difference to a pose just being pose or a pose being one in tune with all your chakras.
Yoga is always more rewarding when the teacher & student understand the deeper meaning of each pose and Christophe's stories before classes made it all the more meaningful.

Back to 'yoga-with-a-teacher' with Christophe...

After a few years practicing my own yoga routine, mix of several styles studied over a bit more than a decade, a friend told me about Christophe and I started to go to his classes. The main reason I stopped studying with teachers for a while was because I always hurt my lower-back after a few classes with them, but I discovered that Christophe, an Anusara style inspired teacher, is very knowledgeable in foundations and anatomy, which helps a lot not to get injured during a yoga class.
