I have been a Physical Therapist for over 16 years and have practiced in a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedic and chronic pain clinics. I have completed many courses in Frequency Specific Microcurrent and find it to be an invaluable tool in treating many different conditions that have not responded to other treatments. I have received my certification in Integrative Dry Needling through Dr. Ma‘s courses in Integrative Dry Needling Orthopedic Approach and I have begun on-going training in Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Function through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. After completeing my 200 hour teacher training in Iyengar Yoga in 2008 and furthering my knowledge through many additional workshops, I began incorporating Yoga into my Physical Therapy practice, creating a unique blend and outlook on how to bring the body back into balance. I have also received my Reiki Master attunements and certification and find such a gentle and subtle healing modality to be a great adjunct to more conventional treatments. I began a personal study and practice of Vipassana Meditation clsoe to 8 years ago and I am currently almost half-way through a year-long Meditation Teacher Training program with the Mindful Life Program (MLP).
I find great benefit for my clients in being able to combine conventional and holistic treatments to offer the best of what is available in bringing health to a person as a whole.
