Citrini is both a registered yoga instructor, certified through Kali Ray TriYoga in Basics through Level 3, and a licensed psychologist. She is the director and owner of TriYoga hOMe Philadelphia at Mind-Body Services. Citrini teaches yoga classes, is available for private instruction, and offers teacher training in TriYoga. She has been teaching TriYoga since 1999, and has taught in Philadelphia, Conshohocken, Swarthmore, and Chicago. Her name, Citrini, means “bright” in Sanskrit. She has been continuously drawn to TriYoga because of the grace, beauty, strength, and meditative qualities of the Flows. She deeply loves sharing TriYoga, watching the transformation that the practice engenders, and helping others uncover their connection to the Universal.

Citrini has been a member of the TriYoga Teaching Training Staff since 2009, offering teacher training nationally and internationally. She has offered trainings with the TriYoga Center of Boston in their 500-hour certification program in Therapeutic Yoga. Citrini has been an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher, E-RYT(500), with the Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level since Feb 2013 and an E-RYT at the 200-hour level since Dec 2009. She has been a Registered Yoga Teacher, RYT(500), with the Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level since August 2006 and an RYT(200), the 200-hour level, since February 2005. She is also a Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT), having enjoyed teaching yoga to children and adolescents since her dissertation research led her to explore how children's mental health and behavior is influenced by yoga practice. And she is a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT), having undergone training in prenatal yoga to help expectant mothers journey through pregnancy, labor, and delivery (supplementing her own experience of three pregnancies and natural births). Lastly, she is a LifeForce Yoga Practitioner, trained in using yoga to help alleviate depression, anxiety, and bring balance to emotions.

Citrini has strong interests in the connections between mind-body-spirit, in the promotion of well-being, in stress-related concerns, and in alternative and complementary approaches to healing. She welcomes yoga students and practitioners as psychotherapy clients. In addition to her training in TriYoga breathing, concentration, and meditation practices (Prana Vidya), she has studied and practiced Buddhist meditation and has undergone training in using meditation techniques and principles of Buddhist psychology in psychotherapy. She has been a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) since 2006. Read more information about her as a psychologist. In certain cases and with certain clients, integrated psychotherapy and yoga instruction may be appropriate and beneficial.
