Following the pull of spiritual study, I teach alignment-based yoga classes designed to help students practice awareness and empowerment in this extraordinary life. My classes are aimed to heal and engage students to create their own their paths to awareness and lasting joy. I intertwine exploration of deep physical alignment with the pulsation of slow flow, weaving the pervading pulse of nature with a creation of space in the physical and subtle body. I am deeply grateful for the platform I've been blessed with: to share my understanding that the world is deeply poetic and our human experience is an opportunity to embrace the poetic grace of each student's particular spirit.
I completed a 500 hour Hatha Yoga Training with Sunstone Yoga, and then an additional 200 hours of Vinyasa study. I recently immersed in 100 hours study with Shannon Paige and Sam Schuler, who helped me refine my alignment and philosophy studies. I'm a devotee of study, so I stay up to date by taking regular master workshops, attending conferences and reading about my work.
I currently teach weekly classes in Fort Collins, CO at CSU Recreation and Om Ananda Yoga. I also teach guest classes and co-lead yoga retreats at Bliss Yoga in Denver.
