I took my first Yoga class at 63. At that time, I was struggling with asthma and bronchitis and needed to get off the medications I was on. It was love at first sight and by age 70, I became a 200 RYT, and have been teaching 6 classes weekly for the past 7 years.
Learning how to breathe was key for me, along with the movement of body and quieting down the mind, has brought me health and happiness. Also, delving into the spiritual aspects of what Yoga is really about has broadened my life beyond measure. Learning is a gift that goes on at any age.
