I have been practising yoga for over 10 years and found the transformative effect of the practice on my emotional and physical wellbeing such that I was inspired to train as a teacher under the guidance of Simon Low and the faculty of the Yoga Academy.
Her approach to yoga is to use the practice as an anchor of awareness in an ever more fragmented world, to help students stay connected to their true selves, through their bodies, minds and spirits. Her work as a yoga retreat chef has led her to explore the benefits of diet, movement and breath as holistic tools to help us skilfully navigate life's changes. Her classes are hatha based and take a gentle approach to asana and pranayama. The classes provide an accessible practice for beginner and intermediate students to explore and develop their body/mind connection.
