I was fortunate to study and complete a Yoga Power Teacher Training and Enrichment Study, 200 RYS while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I really liked the isometric strengthening/revitalizing stretches that yoga provided.
Been teaching for 5 years in different classroom environments here in the States (rec centers, gyms, universities, studios).
I've learned that anyone, any age, any place, can benefit from meditation and yoga.
I enjoy teaching as a way of sharing the knowledge and skills that lead to a healthier lifestyle and an overall sense of self-awareness. Breathing techniques alone have been scientifically proven to lower blood pressure and ease your nervous system.
Yoga also strengthens any break-dancing routine. Sometimes you just wanna break-dance.
