Having been involved in sports all my life, I've always held a great appreciation for physical wellness and the human body. I began practicing yoga to increase flexibility and for injury prevention. Without expectation, the effects for calming the mind, stress relief, body awareness, among other benefits, soon became apparent as a result of a daily practice.
Although my formal education and career had begun with an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology, and a Graduate Diploma in , I was always in search of something more. The way in which Yoga transformed my life, I felt inspired to study Yoga. I completed my first YTT at Kripalu Centre in MA, USA, and continue my studies through their 500hr certification. Additionally, I have had the pleasure of studying with Rameen Peyrow of the Sattva School of Yoga, having completed his 200hr Sattva training. I've also taken multiple workshops and have been deeply inspired by Nicky Doane, Sarah Tomson Beyer, Shiva Rea, Seane Core, Janet Stone, and Amy Ippoliti.
I have extensive experience teaching a variety of styles including, Vinyasa, Yin, Yin Yang, Gentle, and Restorative.
After 4 amazing years teaching full time in Calgary and managing the beautiful Yoga Santosha, my life's journey has brought me to Boulder Colorado where I hope to begin a new era of teaching what I love and what I live.
