  Vinyasa often described as a "breathing system" is the union of breath and movement, creating a progressive flow that safely and systematically moves a student from one asana (pose) to the next. The practice combines stretching, strengthening, balance and Ujjayi breathing. Instead of pausing between poses as you would in more traditional yoga styles, each pose flows into the next, making it an intense workout. Poses are linked with push ups (chataranga), forward folds (uttanasana) and side bends. In a Vinyasa Flow class you will build strength, flexibility and fitness as you learn to move mindfully and with intention.

  Physically, sweating will release toxins and re-energise your body. Mentally, the synchronised breathing helps to quiet the mind and bring you into a mindful and meditative state.

  A Vinyasa Flow class will leave you feeling strong, balanced, focused and energised in your body; calm, centred and at peace in your mind.
