Corinne Cappelletti is a Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst, Wellness Educator, Registered Somatic Movement Therapist, Yoga Alliance Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, and Dance Artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a MFA from the University of Utah in Modern Dance. Corinne’s professional dance career steered her down a path training in holistic healing and somatic methods. She integrates these practices into a perceptive sophistication and deep play to observe, diagnose, intervene and facilitate a healing expressive arts process with students and clients. Corinne began teaching college courses in Laban Movement Studies at the University of Utah (2008) and the Laban Institute of Movement Studies (LIMS®), NYC in 2009. She deploys hands-on techniques, postural assessment, energetic awareness, meditation and guided exploration to identify patterns and proclivities in various layers of the body- emotional, physical, spiritual, energetic – and direct individuals into greater balance, release and agency. Body Mind Centering, Restorative Therapeutic Yoga, and Ayurveda trainings in tandem with her career as an independent choreographer and performer enlivens her private practice and teaching.
