My yoga practice developed in New York City where I explored various styles of yoga, which brought mindful movement, stillness and clarity to my life. I fell in love with Hatha yoga and its many benefits of cultivating a deep connection between the mind, body and breath. Yoga became my lifestyle and I am thrilled to share the gifts of yoga in a kind, compassionate way. I continue to be amazed by yoga and its influence on every aspect of living.

I've been to a number of classes in the area at various venues and with many different instructors, and Courtney's class is the one I look forward to the most. My practice is usually done at home on my own, but once or twice a month, I enjoy heading out to Solace Yoga Studio for Courtney's Hot Yoga Class on Tuesday nights. It's usually packed with aspiring yogis looking to get their sweat on - and that's what we do. The music is soothing and the pace is faster so this is NOT a class I would recommend to someone who has never tried yoga before; but if you're yoga-familiar and consider yourself in semi-decent shape, this is the class for you. You will love how you feel after - and you will be ravenous after burning up all those calories!
