Courtney Peper is a master teacher who has dedicated her life to understanding how the body works. She uses this knowledge to help others to create positive change in their bodies.
As the owner of The Body Space, a 500- hour Yoga and Level 3 Peak Pilates teacher & DMI Pilates Master Program, she believes in building a body that is sustainable, fully aligned, and capable of movement that is free and available. She is committed to sharing with others what it takes to know, love and respect their own body.
She helps clients to understand body mechanics and to improve their own body condition, whether or not after a surgery or injury. She aims to help restore mechanical function to any body, no matter the circumstance.
Courtney uses Yoga and Pilates, Alignment and Movement Principles and calming breathing techniques to bring clients to their ideal functional posture. She also helps to build a better relationship with one's body. She has studied Peak Pilates at The Good Space with Melody Morton and Laura Hampton, and Classical Lineages in Yoga during the past 15 years. She has studied with a long list of master body workers and has recently completed her 500-hour certification with acclaimed Yoga teachers, Nicki Doane and Eddie Modestini with Maya yoga in Maui, Hawaii.
Courtney conveys experience, intuition and education that brings relief and freedom to all clients that see her individually. In group classes, she imparts knowledge on posture and alignment that helps with function, efficiency and injury prevention in everyday life and other activities, like intense sports training ( boot-camp-like classes, CrossFit, distance running, etc.).
