I took my first yoga class in high school and knew I had found my passion. Whatever I got from that class, I wanted to share with the world! I moved to Panama City Beach, FL with the dream of being a Yoga Teacher on the beach.
In January 2013, I began my first 200 hour yoga teacher training at Many Rivers YTT in Tallahassee, FL. I studied Ashtanga, Hot, Yin, and Flow. In May 2014, I became certified to teach stand-up paddle board yoga from LauraLynn Jansen. In August 2014, I began my second 200 hour YTT with Ally Ford, an authorized Ashtanga teacher, and Caroline San Juan Czubaj. My second 200 hour training was an immersion in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. In February 2015, I became certified to teach aerial yoga from Dawn Brooks. I plan to begin my 500 hour YTT by the end of 2016 and to continue my education and growing my knowledge and understanding of this wonderful practice as long as I live.
I am fortunate enough to be able to teach to many special populations on a regular basis including military suffering from PTSD, children and adults suffering from behavioral disorders, drug rehabilitation patients, and women recovering from abuse. These classes to me are some of the most rewarding and heartfelt practices I have ever witnessed. I am very grateful for the many opportunities I have been given to share my practice and passion with so many people who can truly benefit from a regular yoga and mindfulness practice.
