Crista Baker is a yoga and meditation instructor. She is presently attending the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to achieve certification as a Health Coach. Crista started practicing yoga while earn her degree in engineering and intensified her practice in Ashtanga yoga as a form of relaxation and wellness while working as an engineer. Her love for yoga, its impact on family members’ health, and her own well being led her to the Ananda Ashram in Monroe, New York. She completed a 200 hour training program in Vinyasa, Power, Relaxation Yoga, Meditation, Sanskrit and Mantras with the Ananda Ashram community of instructors. Her goal is to combine the benefits of yoga, meditation, integrative nutrition and health coaching in order to provide individuals with a holistic approach to health.
Crista has experience with private instruction, community yoga classes, and yoga with young children. She brings a warm energy to her classes with her laughter and encouragement.
