Cristin Whiting is the founder of Road To Bliss. She is trained as both a clinical psychologist and a yoga teacher.
Cristin began her formal yogic training in 2013 at Sachtidananda Ashram/Yogaville in their Yoga of Recovery ® certificate program where she learned the integration of yoga, meditation, Ayurveda and traditional recovery tools for working with people with addictions and self-defeating life patterns. In 2014 she completed her 250-hour yoga teacher training at Asheville Community Yoga, which emphasized the healing traditions of hatha yoga (physical practice), karma yoga (service) and bhakti yoga (devotion). In 2015 she completed training with James Fox and The Prison Yoga Project for teaching yoga to people impacted by addictions and trauma. In addition to teaching yoga, Cristin is collaborating with a cross-disciplinary group of faculty at Wake Forest University in developing a therapeutic justice project to bringing yoga and meditation to incarcerated women.
