I began my exploration with yoga in 2007. In 2014, I completed my first teacher training at Jane’s House of Well-Being in St. Charles, Missouri. I was trained to teach Hatha yoga, using the Dynamic Yoga Method (DYM), under Robin Buck, Sarah Kadel, Matthew and Holly Krepps, and other masterful teacher’s. I registered with The National Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and began teaching soon after.

My teaching style is non-judgmental and always tries to encourage growth physically, mentally, and emotionally. Reminding my students to come back to themselves by getting out of their heads and into their bodies. I keep my students safe in their postures by using subtle cuing, hands-on adjustments, and modifications. This helps to challenge each student to reach beyond their perceived limitations, so they can begin to find and understand their own body. I am great with beginners and strives to make each class accessible for all levels.

I recently (2019) graduated Lindenwood University with my Masters in school and professional Counseling.

So awesome...I am very new to Yoga but I am happy Crystal is there to teach and take me on the new journey. In this day and age of fast pace stress and social media...such a welcome positive experience!❤️❤️❤️

Groovy

I'm not a yoga person but do like to try new things and exercises. This was a great experience immersing my self into a practice of body and mind. Crystal put the class at ease with her positive energy. I liked how she didn't make me feel rushed to keep up, go at my own pace and gave suggestions for a better stretch. When I entered I was nervous being in a class of strangers,my arms and shoulders were stiff, glued to my sides. After her class I promoted a totally different body language. More loose and free flowing.

Very sensitive soul!

Crystal has a very kind and compassionate energy. I was really nervous to go to class because I had previously only done yoga at home with a DVD, but Crystal made me feel welcome and comfortable. She helps me adjust or get back on track if I struggle with a posture or movement without drawing attention so that I don't feel embarrassed. Love her class and always feel rejuvenated!
