Cynthia Rebong is a full-time Registered Midwife at Midwifery Care North Don River Valley, serving families in north Toronto & Vaughan, since 2008.

In addition to providing midwifery care, Cynthia enjoys teaching yoga, pilates & movement. Finding fulfillment through connection, she seeks to support and uplift others in their paths toward finding freedom and happiness in their everyday lives. She loves diversity in movement and the intricacies of the body, and enjoys the creativity that goes into teaching.

She found her yoga roots through the Moksha Yoga community in North York & Thornhill and received her yoga teacher training at the Ahimsa Yoga Centre in Toronto. Currently she is enjoying completing her training in contemporary mat pilates with MuseMovement in Toronto. She has also received training in prenatal & postnatal yoga and has furthered her education to include craniosacral therapy, the pelvic floor and strength & mobility as it relates to yoga.

One of the best!

I had the privilege of learning from Cynthia in a session of prenatal yoga classes. Having been through many prenatal wellness and fitness instructors, I was blown away by Cynthia's knowledge and creativity. Each class is different, and she balances providing safe exercises that also work our minds and bodies. I always left Cynthia's classes feeling stronger, taller, more flexible, positive, and refreshed. Cynthia also took the time to answer all of our questions, even if it meant extending the class time a bit. Thank you so much Cynthia!

Incredible Yoga and Pilates Instructor!

I have attended both Cynthia's yoga and pilates classes. Cynthia is such an incredible teacher! She knows exactly which cues to give and even though they may seem like the tiniest adjustments, they make a world of difference. Cynthia is very creative in her classes and they always seem to be exactly what I need at that time. She is genuine and so welcoming. I highly recommend making time to attend her classes!

Phenomenal Prenatal Yoga/Pilates Instructor!!!

I wish I had met and attended Cynthia's classes sooner! Cynthia is a phenomenal instructor!!! I really enjoy how she integrates yoga and Pilates into the prenatal classes. I really feel like I am working all areas of my body, especially my pelvic floor and legs. I look forward to attending Cynthia's classes!!! I also truly appreciate her wealth of knowledge, since she is a Midwife. Her classes include the right amount of informative information and she is always willing to stay back and answer any questions you may have.
I will definitely continue both postnatal and afterwards. I highly recommend taking a class instructed by Cynthia!!!

Excellent Prenatal Yoga Experince

Cynthia is a very approachable and personable instructor. She is always willing to explain and answer any questions or concerns. She provided a great workout that was customized to my specific needs, and I really felt that her classes helped me both mentally and physically during my pregnancy. I would recommend her to anyone!
