I am originally from Corpus Christi, Tx. After high school, I moved to Tulsa, OK. It was in Tulsa I found and fell in love with yoga. My teacher was inspirational and led me to the path of Yoga. I received my 200 hour teaching certificate in 2010 from Mount Madonna Center in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I completed my 500 teacher training in 2011. I love studying anatomy and understanding how the body works. My style is a mixture of my training in a classical system of Yoga coupled with my love for anatomy. I try to focus on the individual needs of my students and change the sequencing and intensity of my classes in accordance to the students’ experience. I inspire to contribute to the overall mental, physical, and spiritual growth of my students with creativity and safe alignment. My long-term goal is to pursue a degree in physical therapy. I want to utilize this knowledge as a physical therapist to inspire my yoga teaching and also hope to bring some yoga into my physical therapy practice.
