I first discovered yoga back in 1974, whenI joined a group of spiritual seekers. We were reading various sacred texts, including the Bhagavad Gita, and trying a wide variety of types of meditation.
This lead me to the practice of Asana — what most people in this country think of as "yoga."
I've been teaching yoga since 2002, have taught as many as 10 classes/week at times, and have likely taught over 1000 students.
My teaching includes Vinyasa and very strenuous yoga, however, I specialize in working with athletes and people with injuries and health challenges.
