I have practiced yoga for about 8 years total. The first 3 years my practice seemed sporadic. Looking back with the knowledge and experience I have now, I can pinpoint times and reasons I was pulled back to my mat. It wasn't until I experienced The Dynamic Yoga Method at Jane's House of Well-Being that I made my practice a priority. Yoga creates a wonderful sense of calm and is my foundation for living a balanced life. After finding the mat, feelings of inadequacy turned to confidence and competitiveness shifted to compassion. I became a teacher in an effort to share the practice that I love.
In 2012 I received my 200 hour RYT certification under Robin Buck of Jane's House of Well-Being, which included multiple workshops with Matt and Holly Krepps of Circle Yoga Shala. I want my classes to empower, but maintain a sense of playfulness. I believe the more space we create in our bodies the more openness we will have in our hearts and in our minds.
