A yogi since birth, Danielle brings joy and a dry wit to all of her classes and students. Raised in a family that practiced the Sivananda and Iyengar tradition, as well as Zen and Buddhist meditation, she continually deepens her studies through the teachings of Will Duprey and the classical yoga texts.
Recently, Danielle has become deeply impassioned about reaching those who would never think to go to a yoga class. With a 500hr certification from Loyola Marymount's Yoga Therapy Rx program, she now combines classical techniques with therapeutics. Her care as a yoga teacher has expanded from vinyasas and king pigeons to deeply holding space for those who have experienced serious traumas and disease.
While her group classes and private sessions work with alignment and the individual's unique body structure, students will leave their session with the idea that it's not about the perfect pose but really about experience, connection and intent.
