Dani’s classes combine playfulness, uplifting music, strength and relaxation. She first started practicing yoga as a teenager and immediately connected to the rhythm and flow of vinyasa. Whilst living in Melbourne in 2008, she was introduced to Somachi Yoga, a dynamic mix of vinyasa, tai chi and dance. She was moved to complete her 200 hour teacher training there and upon returning home to Auckland she found further inspiration at Yoga Tech.
Dani’s intention is to teach authentic classes by weaving together the aspects of yoga that inspire her and keep her coming back to her own practice. She focuses on using the breath to encourage relaxation and create space in body and mind. She is a registered Medical Herbalist and Naturopath.
