Danny Arguetty, , E-RYT, has studied and practiced extensively in the Kripalu and Anusara approach to yoga. He blends a mix of skillful alignment cues, playful postures, and creative vinyasa flows to facilitate a heart-opening journey of conscious inquiry.
Danny links the potency of asana practice and nature to the possibility of living in the world with mindfulness, skillfulness, and heartfelt intent. He was a regular faculty member at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health from 2006-2011 teaching classes, workshops, and serving as faculty in Kripalu’s basic and advanced teacher trainings.
Currently Arguetty leads basic yoga teacher trainings in Southern California, an advanced training in India, is the founder of Inner Quest transformational retreats for gay men, and works with private clients on life coaching and nutrition.
Danny teaches yoga and wellness each January to undergraduates at Williams College in Williamstown MA and continues to dedicate his time to further study with his primary teacher Dr. Douglas Brooks, one of the leading scholars on Tantra in the West.
Arguetty is the author of Nourishing the Teacher: inquiries, contemplations & insights on the path of yoga, and is passionate about supporting people in living yoga on and off the mat.
