Yoga therapist, Movement Educator, Bodyworker, Wanderluster, Homemaker and Student.

My journey with yoga started first as a sanctuary away from the hectic corporate life. In 2008, I traded in my business suit and found myself immersed in traveling, uncovering the wonders of Yoga as a practice, a lifestyle, a means of sharing my passion with others, and most importantly a lifelong study in the art of living.

I have studied with teachers from the east and west, blending esoteric Eastern philosophy with the western scientific approach on anatomy and physiology. Some of my biggest inspirations come from Richard Freeman – who has had a deep impact on the way I see Yoga as a profound and yet subtle embodiment practice for the body, mind and spirit. My foundational practice in Anusara Yoga opened my mind to embodying the wisdom of the body and creating a heart-centred practice. In recent years, I delved into a deeper quest into the study of neuroscience, somatic movement, combined with the holistic framework of Yoga Therapy tools to explore the connection between mind and body through subtle practices. Inspired by the teachings of Donna Farhi, Tom Meyers, and Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen (Body Mind Centering®), I use an inquiry-based, body-sensing approach to bring about greater transformation and healing into the way we relate to ourselves and the environment. I have also completed agraduate certification in Yoga Therapy.

As a bodyworker of various healing modalities, I'm trained in the art of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Chi Nei Tsang (Abdominal Detox Massage), Tai Chi Massage and Reiki, in which I infuse into the alchemy of my intuitive bodywork and yoga therapy. Daphne incorporates a heart-centred approach, the sensibilities of alignment and biomechanics, as well as insights into yoga philosophy within my practice. My therapy sessions, classes, workshops, and trainings are known to focus on breath, mindfulness, and awareness to create the moment to moment balance in nurturing the body, mind and spirit.

I'm a certified Yoga Therapist (Graduate Certification), E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) . I assisted and co-taught in the Shantaya Teacher Training Programs with Jonas Westring since 2013. In 2016, I created Yoga with Daphne, to provide training and mentorship programs for yoga, movement, mindfulness and bodywork practitioners, as well as to bring like-minded people together to share knowledge and insights for the community. I hold therapy workshops, trainings, and retreats in various parts of the world
