Realize your full potential: Empowerment through the transformative wisdom and practice of yoga.
Darcie was born and raised in Manchester, NH. A born klutz, she was put into dance classes at the age of 2 and found her way into the world of theatre through her study of dance. She moved to Boston at age 18 where she earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College. Upon graduating she moved to New York City where she lived for seven years and earned her MFA in Acting from The Actors Studio Drama School at The New School. On one of her many visits home to NH during this time, her mother brought her to a yoga class with Maureen Miller at Living Yoga in Concord, NH. It was love at first Sun Salutation! At first yoga was something Darcie only practiced while in NH with her Mom, but eventually she took on her own journey within yoga in New York, exploring the various styles and philosophies, trying to expose herself to as many different incarnations of yoga as possible. From here, Darcie began her own personal practice at home, striving to master the art of listening to the natural flow and rhythm of her own internal practice. She has studied the asanas in yoga 'on the mat' for over 10 years and continues to strive to integrate her yoga practice 'off the mat'. Darcie completed her 200-HR Yoga Teacher Training at The Kripalu School of Yoga in Stockbridge, MA and is a Registered Yoga Teacher.
Darcie continues to work as a theatre actor in Boston, New York, and Western Mass and is a proud member of The Actors Equity Association
